Thanksgiving in a country without Thanksgiving

We made the best of it, and it was the best.
Since we had no mothers to cook for us we decided to tackle the challenge of doing it all ourselves. The turkey, the stuffing, mashed potatoes, candied yams and so on....
So Rachel found the parade online, we put on Christmas music and spent the day cooking and drinking and, later, eating and drinking and it was pretty awesome. All the food, by the way, turned out great! My compliments to me.
